Our Approach
The Tobyhanna Army Depot Building 14 project consisted of the existing 29,946 square foot one-story building renovation. Straughan Environmental worked as the sustainability consultant to support the contractor in tracking, and documenting HPSB requirements towards HPSB Guiding Principles Validation compliance requirements. Straughan developed key Sustainability deliverables including the Sustainability Action Plan and Construction Indoor Air Quality Management Plan to guide the process for implementing and achieving project sustainability goals throughout construction and post-occupancy. Throughout Construction Administration, Straughan provided HPSB Guiding Principles tracking updates and required documentation for each of the construction related HPSB Guiding Principles requirements in the monthly Sustainability eNotebook and Final Sustainability eNotebook at post-construction. At Substantial Completion, Straughan assembled and submitted the Final Sustainability eNotebook including the Final HPSB Checklist with no reviewer comments to achieve HPSB GPV compliance for the project.
